Katie Chipperfield is a Canadian Screen Award (CSA) nominated film and television editor whose work has made waves at international festivals, including Sundance, Berlinale, and TIFF. With a versatile editing style, Katie thrives both in dramatic television and long-form documentary, blending artistry with a deep commitment to impactful storytelling. Believing that the world is shaped by the stories we tell, Katie aims to collaborate on stories that inspire empathy and spark social and cultural change.
Katie's extensive portfolio spans a wide range of prestigious networks and platforms, including NBCU, ESPN's 30 for 30, Field Of Vision, BBC, CW, SYFY, the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), VICELAND, CBC and APTN. Her credits include dramatic series ALLEGIANCE (NBCU, CBC) and TRICKSTER (CW, CBC), the CRAVE original comedy BRIA MACK GETS A LIFE, the groundbreaking, docu-series RISE (VICELAND), and the critically acclaimed documentary INCONVENIENT INDIAN for the National Film Board of Canada (NFB).
Katie was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award (CSA) for her work on Trickster, and earned multiple Canadian Cinema Editors (CCE) award nominations for her work on NUUCA (Field of Vision), I'M JUST HERE FOR THE RIOT (ESPN) and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS (Discovery).
